Fun Free in NYC this Summer

Click the links below for information:

Music @ Lincoln Center - you can pay to go on the dance floor BUT you can hear the music just fine from the plaza and tons of people are there dancing and enjoying the atmosphere.

Books and Jazz - free music outside the Brooklyn Central Library and while your there go inside the library and take out a good book, a CD or a DVD movie.

Visit MOMA on Friday nights it's free after 4pm and check out some very cool modern art.

Go to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens on Saturdays from 10am -12pm for free. The earlier you go the better chance you'll have to see some interesting birds like a Red tail hawk and Cranes.

See a movie outside at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Monsters vs. Aliens on July 15!

Take a ride on the Staten Island Ferry round trip. It's always free and you ride right past the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

  3. Sherry I'm so glad you went the Botantical Gardens! It's one of my favorite places. The Farmers Market is on Saturdays. It's right between Prospect Park, the Central Library and the Arch at Grand Army Plaza. They sell fresh organic chocolate milk that's delicious!
